Great comedy for a change! It’s the late 1980s, when Wall Street is riding high, and it seems as if the entire country is cashing in on the bumper profits. Disgusted with the materialism that surrounds him, Matt Franklin, a brilliant young MIT graduate, has walked out on his well-paid position at a local lab and taken a low-level job as a video clerk, much to his father Bill’s consternation. And the crises keep piling up in Matt’s life. His best buddy Barry has just gotten fired from his job, his brainy sister Wendy is getting hitched to her vapid boyfriend Kyle, and the gorgeous Tori Frederking, long-time object of Matt’s unattainable adoration, is suddenly back in the picture. Now, on one wild, woolly and irresponsible evening, everything is coming to a head, with explosive results.

Gossip Girl’s Michelle Reveals Royal Wedding Scoop: Does She Crash?

Wetpaint Entertainment was lucky enough to score a few minutes with Gossip Girl’s Michelle Trachtenberg (Georgina) at the Labryrinth Celebrity Charades in New York City on November 14 — and we of course had to ask about Georgina’s much-hyped return for Blair Waldorf’s (Leighton Meester) upcoming Royal Wedding.

So is Georgina really going to crash Blair’s big day? And who does Michelle think Queen B should ultimately end up with?

An altar girl? At Blair’s wedding? What on earth could Georgina be up to this time!

So, what can you tell us about Blair’s Royal Wedding?
Well, I can say this. Out of the main cast, Georgina’s the only one wearing black! She’s more in mourning than in celebration.

Is Georgina invited to the wedding — or does she crash it?
(With a big smile) You look so pretty tonight!

No, seriously, does she crash?
(Smiling again): Really, really pretty. I like your sweater.

What was your favorite part about filming the Royal Wedding?
Well, we’re still filming it. But it’s everyone just dresses completely to the nines. It’s hard for us to sit down in our gowns though!

Looks like Georgina and baby Milo are both back on the Upper East Side!

Georgina to make ‘Gossip Girl’ return

For all of you Gossip Girl fans out there, here’s some great news for you! According to this source, Michelle is expected to return as Georgina.

Josh Schwartz has confirmed that Michelle Trachtenberg is reprising her Gossip Girl role later this season.Her character Georgina Sparks was last seen fleeing NYU after her brief relationship with Penn Badgely’s Dan Humphrey hit the rocks. Writing on his Twitter, Schwartz confirmed: “You will see the return of Georgina Sparks before the end of Season 3… ”

Trachtenberg currently stars in NBC’s Mercy, in which she plays one of the female leads alongside Taylor Schilling and Jamie Lee Kirchner. Gossip Girl returns Monday, March 8 on The CW.
